The Open Innovation Challenge provides an avenue to promote innovative solutions in the media industry. The OIC is an open competition for ideas that we regularly launch on various topics. The best submissions will be awarded with prize money and the implemented solutions are made available to media companies free of charge for a limited period.
Several contributing factors such as a lack of an innovation culture, limited resources and varied interests can cause only the smallest common denominator from a wide pool of ideas to be developed. Together with dtec.bw and the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, you can promote peace in crisis regions through journalism. In our new Media for Peace fellowship program, we'll work with you to develop ways to support journalism in Lebanon and Afghanistan that de-escalates and promotes peace.
